Anybody ever change a Fuel injection control module on a 6.0 diesel?

We change them all the time at my shop. If you go to ford & by the 1/2 ficm for around $500 you can change it yourself if your fairly handy. If you buy the whole ficm it has to be programmed by the dealer. If you have the time send it off to ficmrepair.com & they will fix it for $225.

Its no problem at all i did one in my shop today. 8mm 10mm sockets and a little patience. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can usually fix them yourself. Google ficm repair procedure and see what comes up. Also be careful not to break the retainer clips on the 3 plugs under the ficm. When you get them unclipped they will come out easy( no prying needed). Pm me if you need specifics

I soldered my own. Been going at 48v for 3 yrs now. If you buy one dont get a ford one go to bulletproof diesel.

Supposed to arrive from Bulletproof today, looks pretty much like R&R the box with the new power half installed and be careful with the plugins. Startups are at 30V right now.

how much is the bulletproof ficm ?

Basic 48v is like $500. The upgraded 58v with redundant circuits is a few bucks more. Either way they dont use Ford components. Its all upgraded.

What are the benefits of changing it out ?? I have an '03 6.0

weak batteries kill them. If yours is still putting out 48 volts I wouldn't change it until it fails.
