Just for fun, I ran some numbers based on the previous performance data given in the first story.
The boat ran 72mph with a 144 cu supercharged small block. Approx. 400-420hp?? I'd guess the weight of this boat to be 3500lbs. This would yeild a C factor (hull efficiency) of 181 -Also a good friend did this same combo in the exact same boat with identical results.
With this data, my estimate with 650hp calculates to 90mph. To achieve 100 hp, it would take approximately 800hp.
Cool stuff, like the little boats too, looking forward to the results.
