Talking looking to buy or lease boat factory on the water.help?

I hope this is appropriate to post here. I think it may help boaters in the long run.
Hi everyone, i don,t get on here much anymore. Its depressing not having a boat for some time now.... but things my be changing !
A friend and myself have been working on an idea that i can,t share right now ,but it has to do with building boats ! Great big boats!

We are looking for a place on the water. We are thinking about North Carolina even though i am from new jersey. Realy need some help here. I dont know the area at all . We are talking about a huge place now on cape fear river. In willmington,nc. Want to see if there are some other options.
We may get into allsorts of boating related things in the future. We will definitely need employees. Welders, fabricators, painters, mechanical and pretty much everything else. We are putting a buisness plan together and hoping to make it work. Looking forward to sharing details with all of you soon.

Any help would be great. Also anyone qualified ,looking for a job, would be happy to consider talking to you.

Thanks, Joe Trstensky

Great to hear !! Help the economy AND put more boats on the water.

However, if it's got sails I'm sending the hit squad to "talk" to you.

And if you consider coming further south to Fla let me know and I'll get you the perfect spot.

South Fla, and the state in general, still have a lot of old marine areas in bad shape after the economic collapse. Many former boatyards are sitting idle or renting space to other businesses to stay alive. Some are rebounding but lots of opportunity still exists.

I sell(and rent) real estate in S. Fla. I'd be happy to help find anything that fills a yard and puts people to work in the boat business. I don't promote much here because I try not to be overbearing but I can provide a nice list of happy members that I have worked with.

I will PM you my info and we can talk anytime. If it's another part of Fla I can go statewide and get together with local agents in the commercial/industrial field.

The old Lyman boat works in Sandusky ,Ohio I think is up for sale and at the very least you may be able to lease the place out.... Right on the water in Sandusky Bay and across from Cedar Point Park . Protected waters and dockage . Sorry I cant give you any more info about the place. Probably going to have to contact a real estate agent in the area.

boats, business, and taxes wouldn't Florida be the better choice? Good luck and hope to see your business do great. Go for it, Jaime

I'd be talking to Reggie about teaming up to get some new next generation hulls built.

It could be a win/win for all involved.
