anyone know the part numbers, length and how chevy measures their pushrods in the ZZ502? I am trying to fix one that someone messed with and replaced three of the exhaust pushrods with shorter ones. the original ones do not measure the same as what chevy says are correct so not sure if they measure different or I am looking at the wrong ones. the motor was built in 2004 and is a gen6 with hyd. roller. any help would be appreciated.

Comp,
The pushrods are sold individually under part #’s
Intake: 10227762_7.592”_3/8 “diameter
Exhaust: 10227763_8.569”_3/8” diameter
.060” wall
Or as a kit: 12368081 containing 8 of each
If any measurement in the stack of tolerances has been altered (IE length from roller wheel base to cup distance, camshaft base circle, head gasket thickness, cylinder head deck thickness) it may require re-measurement and alteration of the lengths.

That's correct you must have the right length pushrod to have the roller on the rocker arm positioned so the contact area is on the center of the valve stem.

thanks Bob,
motor is stock but the previous owner had issues with the rocker nuts backing off and I assume it spit out a couple of pushrods. they replaced them with old rusty ones that are shorter and put several nylon lock nuts on the rockers. I am just trying to get it back running right. when you look up the exhuast part number different people list different lengths so I wanted to find out from someone who knows what was correct. thanks for the help.
