Default Battle of the drives...
Im bored. I thought this could get interesting. IF someone were ever to perform a head to head test, what would be your pick to survive the longest without breaking? Im not talking about running down river in 6" chop. Im talking good old fashioned offshore running.

Scenerio

#1 SSM #6 dry sump vs ASD 8 1200HP application

#2 Imco SCX vs SSM 3A/#5 900HP application

#3 Bravo XR vs SSM IV/III (small shaft ssm) 700HP application

#4 Standard Bravo VS. TRS 500HP application

I was suprised the volvo got left out as well. They don't make the DPX any more I don't thinks so they are kind of out of high performance.
