Question Lake Erie boaters?

Going to Monroe Mi. and Port Clinton OH. on friday the 2nd. Getting together with budies to go to Put-in-Bay. Would like to hookup with some east coast performance boaters to check out thier riggs. Where else is a good hang out spot?

Kelly's Island, a pub called the Casino is where all the performance boats hang.

You could check out the Flats in Cleveland too.

I've been to the Flats back around 1987. Had a lot of fun at the clubs then. Only been to Kelly's once and don't remember much. Can't wait ! As you can see it's been 15 yrs!

I assume you're flying in and riding with someone and not towing all the way from CA.

You will have a blast whether you go to Put-In-Bay, Kelly's, The Flats, or all of them! They are always hopping this time of year.

Leopa poker run will start early Saturday out of Monroe. On Friday night there should be all kinds of HP boats around the Monroe boat club.

I printed the flyer. Looks like a lot of fun, I wish I had my boat there. I'll definatly have to be there for the start anyway. I'm not going to be in Monroe until 2am. sat morn. So I'll miss the Welcome party. If you desribe your boats I'd like to buy ya a beer for the info.

Thanks hope to meet you there!

Faster,

Look for Monroe Boat Club it is off of LaPlasience Rd. Go towards Lake Erie and look for Harbor Marina. Monroe Boat Club is behind harbor marina. Ask anyone around there and they can guide you. We should have around 75 boats there. Ask for Dan Burtscher(28 yellow Saber). I am one of the organizers and would be more than happy to provide some donuts and coffee for you while you check out the boats.
