I hope that Im not being repetitive here. I just purchased a new Mercury Bravo One XR outdrive and I have a Hydromotive prop with a solid (welded in) hub. Drive shaft and hub are both 'fatty' 1.25. The drive, nor the prop, came with any washers, spacers or nut. Nothing. I cant seem to find any dealer locally who can tell me, or sell me, EXACTLY what I need to put this prop on this drive correctly. Some say I need I need a thrust washer, others say I dont. Some say I need a 'spline' washer, some say I dont. Its CRAZY! Can ANYONE here please help me. THANK YOU!

An XR hub kit does not come with a thrust washer or splined washers. the hub bottoms on the shaft, there are 1 thick & 2 thin washers and the nut in the kit I stack the washers thick, thin, thin, then the nut. I believe the thick washer is to hold the prop to the hub & the thin washers are so nothing binds when tightening the nut. Randy

The hub kit p/n is 840389K06 for the XR . Sounds like you do not need the hub ... just the washers and nut .
