Default Help! which way do the oil lines run?

Ok this might sound stupid, but i will ask anyway.

Which way should the oil run using a remote oil filter and oil cooler?
Should it run from the block though the oil filter, and then though the cooler, and then back into the block?

or............. block to cooler, to oil filter, back to block?

I think it is the first way but I want to be sure.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Larry

Best to filter the oil while its hot...more trash is filtered out that way.

This is Teague's. I forgot how I ran mine. I was also told to run the oil flow against water flow on the oil cooler.

Guy's thanks! Interesting that Teague's digram is reverse of what others are saying. (and I am going to go the the oil filter first, and then to the cooler)I agree that running the oil flow against the water flow gets the best cooling out of the oil cooler.

Everybody thanks for the help
