I dont believe thats an excalibur in the picture, looks more like an early 80's superboat.

I really like the way it looks but I can't find any information on it to see how they were built and if it's even worth that kind of money. Seems a bit high to me but I really don't know without knowing the construction.

By 1974 there were at lest 10 boat companies making this same hull. I have a 24' Cobra with twins with this hull. Even this west coast company [Panther] had them.

I thought the 455 olds sounded a little odd, but the 27P bronze prop sounds pretty weird also. Seems like it would be way over propped.

HOW DO YOU BRAM TWINS IN THAT THING
7K DOES SEEM HIGH FOR A 44 Y.O BOAT W/OLD RUNNING GEAR
MY EAGLE CAME OUT OF CA. TO AND HAS A STRANGE HOOK IN THE FORWARD STRBD STRAKE - I TOO HAVE HAD NO LUCK FINDING INFO. MINE IT DOES HAVE A 1 PC DECK COCKPIT DESIGN IF THAT HELPS
NOT A GREAT PIC BUT-HAD SAME PAINT IN PREVIOUS POST EXCEPT RED W/WHITE BOOT STRIPE.

Looks like the same boat to me. How do you like it? Run OK? What kind of setup do you have? The guy is willing to go down to $5k, think it's worth it?
