As the title says, thats what Im shopping for. I think I have it narrowed down to a Nordic 28 Heat. From what I have gathered, they seem to be an upper end well made boat. Before I pull the trigger, what else should I consider, if anything? Ive come across Hallett, Laveycraft and Sleekcraft, but nothing that has really caught my eye like this 05 Heat. Boat will be used in rivers around Charleston with some inshore saltwater use as well. Wife is really sold on the open bow, so the 29-30 Outlaw I wanted is pretty much a hard sell now that she knows there are other options. Thanks in advance and looking forward to hearing some feedback.

I think the 28 Sunsation is a nice boat. That is something you might want to look into. Whatever brand you buy test is again something similar to compare ride, and also see how they fit you needs Boat A vs Boat B

Definitely check out Sunsation as well, I was tossed up between Nordic and Sunsation. Do you guys boat on cooler days as well? I boat year round so I having doors on the cabin was important for the girls. I also love the fact it only has one fuel tank (as opposed to saddles like earlier heats). There's a lot of reasons I chose Sunny, but there's a couple.

This MCOB is for sale near me. http://www.grandsportcenter.com/13po...avey_craft.htm
I started my search for a Sunsation 288, but I could not find one that I would have been happy with the color, power, and price. I kind of fell into a Donzi zxo and have been very happy. Good luck with your search

Nordic in lake Havasu has two 28 Heat for sale. Call Thane for details. Great hull with 24* deadrise for those rough water days.

At least I am not. I do not have the open bow version, but I love my Heat none the less. Even with the saddle tanks
