.
I once read on here that the 45 sonic was the exact same boat as the 42 , and its only stretched 3 feet for the third engine but the cockpit and cabin are exactly the same
but somewhere else I heard the 45 was a totally unique boat from the 42
which is it ?
thanks in advance for any feedback

I've had number of 42's and currently have a 45. Cabins depending on year (layout design) are the same. Cockpits are similar also with varying layouts. I prefer the 45 but wish it was a twin stagger vs triples. The 42 is heavy and really doesn't use additional hp to a speed advantage

Ditto ! Most of the changes are options such as u-shape seating. You could choose one side or a complete u. I have a half of the u and really like it. It makes for great storage. I had my engines upgraded to 600HP's by Young Performance it is much more fun to drive now, and better fuel mileage.
