Default Advice 500 EFI valve parts

Need advice, Going to do valve job myself on 500 EFIs but dont know what parts i need or should replace and looking for stronger parts. What have others done when you did yours. Is it worth going with larger valves for more hp. How big can you go before the intake becomes the limiting factor.
Thanks
Mark

If these are stock GM heads, I would use the Isky 8205 PLUS valve springs and matching retainers. These use the tool room outer springs that will hold up much better than standard spring material over the long haul. Bob Madera at Marine Kinetics can offer you a very good deal on these. He would also probably be a good person to talk to regarding replacement roller rocker arms, and possibly lifters. I assume you are planning to stick with the existing 500EFI cam.

Bob's direct number is 585-654-8583.
