Default Need advice on Changing out the trim tabs/motor cables & "pin-acuator"

Hey everybody
I'm changing out the trim/motor cables from red jackets to teleflex xtremes on my Scarab III. When I was checking out the tabs I noticed that the pin-acuator mercruiser part# 847198 is bent on the port side. Just curious am I short cutting the obvious just buying the pin-acuator or should I replace the whole kit: 84556542A1 (stainless steel/chrome) unit. Mercruiser is quite proud of the whole kit$$$.

What's been your experience? Figure since its still 60 degrees here I'll have a couple of more weeks before splashing.
Thanks
