I'm have a 2001 eliminator daytona with a procharger 540 pushing around 1100hp and 1.5 Bmax outdrive. Outdrive is about 1.75" below hull. This is all a new setup and not sure where to start with the prop.
I'm not really looking for the fastest prop just a good all around prop for right now just till I learn the boat with this hp. Before the boat was a 90 mph so I'm sure it's going to take me a while before I'm ready to open it up and start tweaking props.
Anyone know what kind of speeds I might be getting out of it with this setup? I'm guessing 115 to 120s.
Thanks for any help!

I have a 28ft profile cat and have a 1.5 drive and I can hit the (5800rpm) limiter with a 32 5 blade maximus. With 1100hp I would think you will be running out of prop pitch selection with a 1.5 drive. I know the maximus only goes to 34 and the bravo 1 props go to 36. Hering goes to 38 with their line for bravos.
Are you sure that it is a 1.5 drive? I know that most bmax drives are around 1.33 ratio.

I have a 24 ft HTM with 1,150hp and 1.36 gears, I have several props and currently run Cutting Edge Propellers. With your 1.5 ratio and if you have an honest 1,100 you may run out of prop on a 4 blade depending on your RPM. Try running a 34 or 36P bravo 1 to collect data and give Cutting Edge a call, they can build a custom prop from scratch instead of just trying to tweek a Bravo 1 enough to make it work correctly.

Well I finally had a min to check on the outdrive and it is a 1.3 NOT 1.5.
So I'm guessing ill probably start with a 34p 4 blade and see how it dose.
Racinjason- what kind of speeds are you getting and what sizes are you running? I have a new 27p cutting edge prop that I never got to run on my old motor, ill call them and see if he might be able to trade it out sence I have no use for a 27 anymore.

superbrad30,
You will need to test some propellers prior to determining the correct recipe to build a prop. Call us when you can and we can offer you test propellers to learn from before you ask somebody to build you a propeller that may not work.
Some people may suggest adjusting the Bravo 1 propeller is not a great option.
Adjusting a copy of a Bravo 1 is a less appetizing option.
Let me know any questions you might have and we will do the best we can to help.
