what is the difference between these intakes
I bot 2 420 hp engines, all internals are the same between the 2
1 block is a gen 5 and the other is a mark 4
seeing that i am looking for them to match performance wise
are both of these intakes the same? or do I need to find another performer or vise versa? what is the difference between them
i am using the 420 hp crane cams

The air gap has the center divider notched out which will help a little on the top end. What you could do is notch the GM to match the air gap closer. I seen test where they notch a edelbrock performer intake which is pretty much like the GM and on the dyno it pretty much matched the performance of the air gap.

I am understanding that the performer Rpm (as the other emgine has the performer RPM intake) intake will give me more power then the GM one if this is true then the Performer is for me...any thaughts?
