Default Getting the shafr from baja!

Its hard for me to talk like this about baja, but I think they shafted me . The covers on my 272 just shreded including the full mooring cover. The cockpit cover shreded at all the stiches and the fabric died my engine hatch cover red from the cover bleeding.
I alwas had the boat stored all year round inside until this June.
Then I noticed all the problems, my boat is a 99 but its never been outside unlessed being used. The cover material is all warntted for five years neitheir baja or sunbrella will replace the covers. The next thing was the fiberglass seild across the blower it spidered and is cracking off the boat and they wont fix that etheir. This is my 3rd baja and I think my last, the customer service from baja just sucked and I also think my dealer in allentown should replace the covers since they represent these company's any way justed PISSTED OFF. Done complaining just thought you all might want to know.

Hey - It could be worse. You could be over on the Fountain forum complaining about everthing in the cabin being saturated with water due to deck rails not being properly sealed.

Typical......e-mail them this website info, tell them they are getting bad press, then call your attorney. It seems that is the only way to get any attention these days. I'm dissapointed, especailly considering I am considering another Baja and all I here is bad things about their cusotmer service. Makes my loyalty very shaky. Good luck, Allan

What fiberglass shield are you referring to?

I was told when I bought my Baja that the cockpit cover has no wear warranty, just like a air filter has no warranty on a new car!
if your boat is a 99 model it is 3 years old, those covers don't last much longer than 4 from what I have seen, good luck

Chris, Dont know what the cause is. As I said this is the first time since the boat is brand new it sat outside in the summer. I had
a trailer towing tiedown kit for the cover but didn't like it so I just web A soft rope through the cover. I had a problem with bungee
scratching the hull. You should have gotten a paper from sunbrella
it has the material warranty on it and baja should warranty the stich since they put them togeither. Thanks for your reply.
