Spectro Golden Motoguard semi-synthetic 20w50.

Tons of anti-wear additive.

Ken, cleaning out a buddies barn (who sadly passed away last fall) and found a couple cases of old Spectro 2 stroke pop top cans. Is it still safe to use? Thanks, Kurt

Really not a lot of need for a multi-weight oil in a boat. That being said (I have ran about everything in mine but) I currently run rotella 15/40 with some zddp additive (stp). I change my oil so much that i feel there is no need to run synthetic.

Been using the M1 V-Twin 20/50 for about 10 years, but in 500 to 700 hp engines. Seems like overkill $$ for a stocker. If I had a stock 6.2 I'd likely follow wannabe's suggestion and go with the synthetic Merc 20/40, or equivalent.
