My cover is made of Sunbrella and mine started to do the same thing. I called them and they told me to use 303 High Tech Fabric Guard, like MT said I got mine at West Marine.

Sporting goods stores sellwaterproofing for tents that works well and actually I think Thompsons will work if sprayed.

303 available at West Marine.

I have also bought a product called Igloo from Jo Ann Fabrics. It's a product you throw in the washing machine with the cover. I have not bought in years though.

Do you have any puddling on your cover when it is installed? Getting the cover tighter/bow higher/support pole higher etc. would be the number one thing you can do improve it's water resistance.

Starbrite water proofer with TPE (or TFE or TGF, you get the point), get the gallon size and use a bug sprayer. It also helps with UV protection. It's very similar to Thomsons. (linseed oil). I use it on everything, tractor, grill and motor cycle covers and even on my work jacket. (makes it feel silky)

We used 303 Fabric Guard on our Baja's Sunbrella and it looked as good after 16 years as it did when we bought the boat.

Clean with a mild cleaner, rinse, let dry, and mist twice with Fabric Guard.
