Hello everyone, I just rebuild one of the HO 496's in my Fountain. Now it has a miss, I think I broke a plug wire taking them off the motor do to them being stuck on the plugs and in a tight spot. I thought no big deal I'll just buy a new set but I refuse to pay over $400.00 that Mercruiser wants for a set. Dose anyone know why those wires are so much and where I can get a set at a halfway decent price? Thanks

Which one did you break? I did the same as you and replaced mine a few years ago with a set from Raylar. I have the old ones laying around somewhere if you want just one to get you by.

Thank you, I've ordered a set of MSD wires that I think will work. If I run into anymore problems I'll let you know.
