So I put the outlaw in the water for the first time today and as I am rolling down river I reach down and put my hand back on the throttles.....ZAP!!!...I get the crap shocked out of me....so I figure maybe this is just a static charge....wait a couple minutes and do it again..wham!! Does it again... OK...what the hell is this???? Had to go to work so I put her back on the trailer and I'm gonna look at it in the morning...it doesn't do it when the engines are off....I'm gonna pull the throttle/shifter out and take a look, but has anyone heard of this before? Any advice to help me troubleshoot this would be appreciated!!!

Unless you have trim in the throttle the only electrics will be the neutral safety switch. It helps to have an extra set of hands to hold it all together as you take it apart and put it back together. If they are the standard K. setup there are springs and balls in there so be ready for flying pieces.

My bet is that you have a plug wire rubbed through and touching the throttle cable, should be easy to find. And if your boat is fuel injected it will run pretty good with one dead cylinder.

That's true..it runs fine, but I will check it though...its not a real bad shock...just enough to piss ya off..hopefully its just the neutral switch..
