How would you be able to tape the logo properly over a rough surface? I've been painting 20yrs plus and won't consiter a job like that. Personally I would paint and clear it the way you want then tape and scuff the areas you want nonskid and roll or spray it on. Nexa autocolor had a pretty good system that was translucent and you could pick how rough you wanted the texture. You can also buy sheets of clear grip tape at most skateboard shops.

whats the logo Steve? i've set up my plotter to cut non skid and it works well and i believe it is available in colors or at the very least clear which can be laid on top of a color. Last i checked it was available in fifty inch wide rolls.
