I was told on here that registered members could not post pictures. But I see in some post registered members are posting pictures. Am I missing something?

You can if you upload them to a photo sharing site and then link them

Ignore what you hear. It's a ploy to scare you. Host them on photoshop or image shack and then link them here. I've done it for years.
