Default sonic crafter cutting tool deal

Anyone out there looking for a good deal on an oscillating cutting tool check out woot.com

Tools.Woot

In woot tool & garden they have a pretty good deal going on the Rockwell Sonic Crafter. I picked one of these a couple years ago and it has become one of the most used tools in my shop, one of those things i dont know how i got along without. I just bought another one of these for a spare. These things are super handy

I bought the ridgid tool with interchangeable heads. I liked it so much I bought the air motor and the electric motor. They have a life time warranty (although it is a lengthy process to register it) that covers all parts, batteries (if applicable) and labor.

The blades for them are a little spendy but I have found Menards to be the cheapest.

Love the tool....but like the typical Harbor freight chepo stuff its LOUD but gets the job done...I love it! But will go and buy a better name brand version next time when this one konks out on me

thirty five bucks . . . . . I musta got one of the last ones.

My Harbor Freight one lasted for about a year and served pretty well for a cheapie and that was with everyone and their brother borrowing it. I replaced it this spring with a Porter Cable with a quick blade change system, really like that alot. I think it was in the one forty range. I figured its one of those tools i cant ever be without and got one of these for a backup. Sorry there gone, that sucks hope a few here got in on it . . . .

I think Wallymart has the black and decker for about the same price. They are a definite asset when cutting glass. What I like about them is that they dont sling dust at high speed.

Check this out...the route I went
