Hi Guys,
I just purchased a low hour 2000 28zx with procharged 350 Mags. The boat was a repo and the previous owner apparently decided he should at least keep the props. Does anyone here have a similar set up? How fast is it and what are you running for propellers?

dont know because i have not seen a zx with twins with pro chargers.. i know that stock props are 23 p mirage + if it has 1.50 drives and that hull sucks to get on plane with those props so i would go with a set of 28 p bravo ones..just to get on the water theirs a set of 26 props on the swap shop as we speak so hurry up and jump on those to play it safe, you could always sell them if they dont work out for you but im sure they will get you close..

try them,,but try not to use that much tab getting on plane,,the props will blow out and if theirs waves dont even bother trying....4 and 5 blade props are the ticket to get that hull on plane easier..

Thank you ! I'm really excited about the purchase. I had a Scarab 29 that I pro-charged a couple of years ago and it worked really well. Last year I downsized to a single big block in a 22 and I've regretted it every time I was out. The Donzi looks like it's everything the Scarab was and more. This boat looks like someone took the time and spent the money to do things properly so hopefully I won't have any troubles with it. The prop question seems to be quite divisive. Lots of people love the originally specified Mirage plus props while just as many feel that the extra speed they offer isn't worth the mid range and heavy water handling. If the hull is anything like the Scarab 29 than this power should like the Mirage plus 27's but I'm not sure and I don't want to waste any cash if I'm not buying something close. I should have the boat this coming Friday so I guess I'll be able to start figuring it out from there!

Does anyone know if anyone here has supercharged one of these before? I see a set of Bravo 1 26's on the swap shop but I think they would be too small with the blowers. Would Bravo 30's be too big?

they are stock 350 mags so with that and a procharger which if is not hurt and gunning good should be around 425 hp thats why i said 28p in the first place but went down to 26 p as a starting point.now it also depends on which gear ratio the drives have ,,i assume their 1.50 so wahat was reccomended will work fine..if your drive ratio is a 1.65 then a 30 would most likely be the ticket..
