1991 eliminator daytona fells like i am draging something at low speeds
1991 25ft eliminator Daytona merlin 565 8/71 B &M blower 6lbs boost 1000hp bravo xr drive with imco 2" shorty with 2" spacer
prop shaft is 2" under bottom of boat with spacer 32p lab bravo prop this is my first cat and this boat had 2 outboards on it when I got it and I had the conversion done the boat comes out the the hole a little slow motor sounds like it works hard tell about 55mph then motor sounds like it frees up and boat takes off and pulls haed also at between 45 and 55 mhp
when hitting boat wakes it feels like it really wants to speed up as it paks air

Was the prop labbed just for that boat? I would think it should pack air around 60. When you take off out of the hole, try turning slightly to the left or right...I have been told this helps the smaller daytonas plane.

And about 58mph is when it comes out of the water and takes off I have a spray behind the boat I think water is hitting my imco steering rams the spray
