well we did it last year and had a good time. weather was great and all went well. can not believe its another year later

last year we had 8 or so boats to start. lost a couple along the way then ended up with about 10 at the end.

last year we did a lot of waiting at first so the only real thing i would like to do is ask that people be on time.
i will take care of all the boat ramp info, reservations for lunch etc etc.

last year i made the run fit for any boat. last year we ranged from 24 up to 47 feet, and we ranged from 30 mph cruze to 90 mph cruz speeds. but it all worked out well and we had fun.

still a plan. we will be meeting at kernwood boat ramp in the am, thats in salem mass. we will shoot out of there to misery island to meet anyone else coming from different locations. then shoot up the coast to mad fish grill in glouchester harbor then from there depending on weather we may shoot to boston or just back to kettle cove.
its a fun ride for boats of all sizes, we do lunch and drinks
mikes kids are making the trip as well again this year so its a real nice thing.

we sleep on the boats but there are hotels all around if you wanted to do that.
any questions about the run or locations etc let me know and i can give you all info. only issue is we need to get to boat ramp on time as parking is first come first serve, i let the lady know we are coming so she will save the best spots for us as long as she can. and mad fish docking should be all set we just need to raft off each other

from the big bridge on 95 its about an hour

weld 40 min south of rangely

i ride rangeley a lot and have ridden weld before. nice area. from my house going 95-4-17 it takes me 3 hours no trailers. 3-3 1/2 with trailer/bad weather.
so id say you would be about 2- 2 1/2 hours

the run is a pretty laid back run and good for boats of all sizes.
its not to far but we have fun!
looks like about 10 boats so far.
