OK, I'll play.
I have a 1999 Baja Outlaw with twin's. We boat offshore a fair amount. My question is trimming in the ocean. Normally it's my wife, my self and the dog in the boat. We are not looking to go as fast as we can, but looking more for comfort of ride. I have my indicators for drives and tabs marked for neutral position. Normally what I do is put the drives in the neutral position and bring down the tabs for the best ride depending on the seas. Rarely will I tuck in the drives. The question is, is this the best way to trim in the ocean or really any kind of bumpy water? Should I truck in the drives first and add tab if needed? Again looking for best ride and not top speed.

Question: have read many threads debating this topic.
Do we need drive showers. I have 33 outlaw with stock 454 mags? About to order 2 from Eddie marine, or should I save that cash for something else.. hmm need chartplotter :-)

Your funny mike.. had some good water today! Cruised back from a drive up beach by the train bridge at 3500 and 52 MPH!! Usually 50.. 1-2 windy chop south of twin span..

We the predominant use of Ethanol fuels (E10) these days, there are varying opinions on winter layup with regards to fuel levels in the tank and the use of additives. Give us your thoughts on topping the tank off, or emptying for the winter and the why's....Plus what type of additives are best for day to day and long term storage with Ethanol fuels.
