Hello, I have been lurking about on this board for a couple of years, and have just now had a reason to post. I'm out of Long Beach, CA and also have a place in Lake Havasu, AZ (where I have a small Regal 1900, that fits in the garage). Anyway, I really enjoy hitting the Ocean on my friend's Scarab, and have been lusting after Formula 272, 292, and 311's for years. I just pulled the trigger and entered into a deal on a super clean '90 292 near Ponce Inlet (South of Daytona Beach). I need to get her surveyed, but I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations on someone that might have some actual Formula specific credibility in that area...
If not, are there any known areas that a surveyor should double check? I know that they should take a special look at the Transom for saturation, and the space under the stairs should be checked for rot, anything else?
Thanks!
Mike
