Water pressure at idle?

Water pressure at idle?
What should I be seeing for water pressure at idle? I had a hell of a time getting out of the docks this weekend, big weed problem yesterday. Saw my pressure go to nothing, exhaust getting loud, and my water temp get up to 170 before i jumped off and pulled the weeds out of the intake. Had to do this a couple of times. Great times.
Afterwards, I was seeing about 2 psi at idle. Seemed a bit low to me. But I can't remember what it was before the weed issues, so now i'm just paranoid I smoked the impeller or something........
