The Kemah Boardwalk is my kinda place. I love amusement parks of any kind- always lots of good photo ops.
Kemah is no exception, in fact- it was fantastic. If my old feet would hold up, I could shoot there all night.

This freakin' boat gets more incredible every time I see it.

The restaurant where the registration was being held is called the Aquarium...
so cool- the place had several huge aquariums (duh)...
including this circular one that was 3 stories tall with a spiral staircase around it.

There was a kickass band playing, and the kids were playing in the fountains... very cool scene.

Dey gots a wooden rollercoaster there... The Boardwalk Bullet and it is a mothertrucker.
I rode the sumb!tch and got reminded that I ain't as young as I useta be... geez, that thing was fun.
They wouldn't let me take my cameras- I was in the front car and planned to shoot video.
Ha Ha... good luck. Woulda been kinda embarrassing to fetch a busted Nikon from underneath the tracks.
That thing is a serious ride.

Went over to Kenny's place to meet the helo this morning...
You kinda get the feeling it will be a memorable day when this is the first thing you see when you pull into the driveway.

For me, any day in a helo is a good day, if I'm in WINDSHIP I know the weather will be sunny with a 100% chance of MTI.
