I just replaced all my bunks. All boards are same width, thickness and length. Its only sitting on the two outer bunks. I have maybe a 1/4-1/2" gap on the inners depending on location. Any ideas? Is it normal to use spacers?

It may settle in. My bunks have a bow to them after having the boat weight on them for some time.

Are the pedestals that the bunks attach to adjustable?

Was the boat on all four before you replaced them?

Trailer is a fully welded/non-adjustable unit by Eagle. It was sitting on all four before.

Thinking back, I do believe the outer bunks had some indentation on where the stands were, but I just figured that was due to rot.

Is the trailer the original trailer for the boat? If you have the VIN you can call Eagle and find out what boat the trailer was made for. Sounds like the trailer was for a boat with a deeper vee, and that's why you have a gap at the keel.

That is something to consider, however, it is same year and color and everything else fits up nice.

Give it a few launches and reloads and see what happens. I bet it all settles in after an outing or two. Also, if you lagged the bunks in from underneath recheck the tightness of the bolts after a couple of splashes.

It sat on the bunks all winter and I launched twice now since the replacement. I was hoping after sitting all winter and a 900mile round trip on the trailer would help them to settle but nope. I'll give it a bit more time in and out. But I am thinking spacers will be needed. Oh and I have also tried more forward and more back on the trailer to no avail.

maybe the lower boards need to be thicker.
