Mercury 6 drive gimbal ring broke- options?

Mercury 6 drive gimbal ring broke- options?

I know the rings on the gimbals on 6's are the weak link. I had heard someone was making billet or titanium rings that dont break, anybody have any info?

They break quite often, they are just cast and top and bottom bolt holes have little margin.
