Just put a deposit on the 27 activator at al Grover's was un sure how they ride in rough til I went for a ride any one know any more about theses boat any issues etc? Please inform me of what to expect

I have a 2003 27 with the step bottom, purchased in 2011. Went from 2000 26 Hustler with 502/415hp that you had to had to run wide open and play with drive trim to get to 68 mph. The most impressive quality about the Activator was the efficiency of the hull and its ability to put down speeds unseen before by myself with no effort. Basically set the drive and tabs, drop the hammer and go fast. Even more impressive is the ride becomes smoother the faster you go. Good luck and have fun. That boat looks clean, but as always, maintenance,maintenance, maintenance will be the deciding factor on just how good that thing is.

The 26 Hustler might be the worst single engine boat ever built I know hustler has made some nice boats but the 26 really is a terrible riding boat.. You went from the back of the pack to the front with your 27 purchase. Congrats!!
