We checked out Cole's point marina at Ragged Point for the first time Saturday. Looks newly renovated. Lots of nice boat parking with floating docks, outddoor tiki bar, fuel and a store.

The food and drinks were outstanding. Nice stop.

I had heard that someone new bought Coles Point Marina and made some changes. Kinsale is also a nice little stop. Away from the rat race of bigger marinas.

I saw a thing in the paper where the group that owns Clyde's in NVA and MD took control. I have not been there since that happened. Check out the Tavern at Coles also. We werer there Memorial weekend and the food was great.

Also a great place is at Pinney Point. Island Bar and Grill. You will need to go to the backside of the place. Easy to spot from the Potomac, has a 4 or 5 story tall condo next to it.

Pretty sure Island Bar and Grill is closed, call before you make the trip.
