I was on the beach watching the action, and yes the Chiro One was puttting on a great show.
I did not go back to the pits after the race, but the first two laps Geico and Cintron were running pretty tight then Cintron fell back considerably, then Geico dropped out a few laps later. What happened?
One thing I must say, when I was in the pits chatting with the Geico team members that I encountered , they were extremely cordial and engaging which I think is great for the sport of offshore racing. Also watching those 50' cats run is always inpmressive, that Geico boat flys low and level, and looks effortless at throttle, Scott Begovich was doing a great job while it was running. Those Mystic cats never seem to disappoint on the race course with regards to handling (My $.02 observation from watching on the beach)
A very good show indeed, a beautiful day.
