Default leaking imco risers

I just put a used set of imco power flows on this past week and can't get the risers to seal.got new imco gaskets and both sides leak.risers doesn't looked warped.I'm at a loss.anybody else have this problem? Thinking I'm gonna pull them and put a bead of high temp rtv.what's everbodys thought's on this.thanks in advance

That is what I did with mine and so far it isn't leaking. That was only last year, but I don't see why it won't last a long time.

That is what I used also. I think it let's it move a little to allow for the aluminum and stainless expansion differences.

HAHA, you got me on that one, Thanks for advise.
I like the fact that it is an assemble and use, but it is a gasket maker, not really a high temp sealant. But I have no experience using it and I will probably get some to keep on hand to use for the next project though.
