as mentioned I pressure tested to 20lbs. seemed ok, but what I have read scares me to return it to the engine to only ruin it. they do not look good and when you shake it broken off scale is rattling around inside of them. since I have to purchase new ones why not go with aftermarkets? same price. which ones and who in the states has them in stock? Looking to mod the engines in the near future anyway. what about the Dana as compared to CMI or EMI? engines are 34 1/2" center to center with 8 1/2" risers. exhaust in the back is 27 7/8" center to center.

MANY people's experience has shown that the CMI headers only improve sound; over the factory manifolds which flow remarkably well.

I would look into Dana Marine if I had to replace mine.

the emi's work gr8,,anf you will see a little more performance..i believe they offer hard coating so they wont rust as fas on the inside..call and talk to chris..
