Question Best Place To Buy Bravo XR Upper ?

A good friend of mine is in need of a Bravo XR upper immediately . He wants new or next to new only . Any advertisers here with good pricing looking to make a sale ? What years did the XR upper have good gears ? Are they still available ? I have tried swap shop and wanted sections to no avail . Warm days are wasting away because of a grenaded B1 .

I know the feeling. 15 minutes with a new 32p bravo 1 and bravo drive took a dump! Trying to figure my next move to not ruin the summer.

I have been following your dilemma closely and learning from it . You and my bud are suffering from the same exact blower induced failure . I'm hoping someone here will come to the rescue .

I'm affraid the rescue is going to come in the form of mass quantities of cash....unfortunately.

I'm trying to decide if I should just build my bravo using good components like x gears, steel tower and what ever else needs to be done to make it last longer then 15 minutes. I've read stories about the xr's blowing pretty fast as well so I'm not sure which it rhe worst of the two evils. I would love a bmax and be done with drive issues, but 14k is a tough pill to swallow. Specially so soon after just finishing my complete rebuild of the boat.

Keep me posted on the direction you guys take.

My Buddy Brian from Offshore Outdrives in Ft Lauderdale FL can definitely point you in the rigfht direction! He does all the work on my drive and builds many of the race boats from the SBI Circuit! Give him a call at 954-448-4478 and tell Him Brendan from PSI Racing told you to call!!!

If you are looking for a new XR, Gavin Marine in IA usually has the best prices around. I have bought several from him over the years.
