Well boys...and girls, I thought it was time to make the safe return to OSO and all you knuckleheads....I mean Norty!!!!!!
I hope everyone is doing great and having a great summer.

As most of you know, I received a healthy new kidney from my
beautiful bride on May 9th of this year. The first month was sort
of shaky but the past six weeks have been awesome!!!! I am
awnry, pissed off, grouchy and grumpy....just like my old self!!!!

I have been reading most of the post since the transplant and I
want to thank everyone on OSO for their kind words and their
encouragement.......it really perked me up!!!!

I now have to eat right, avoid alcohol and go slow in the boat....
just the opposite of everyone on the board. We now have nothing in common!!! Thank you again for all your support!!

I'm glad you’re felling better. It's a wonderful thing what your wife did. Take care of your self. Forget the alcohol, eat right and just have fun. Only you can do the right things for your body. Did you explain your definition of slow to your doctor? Maybe he thinks you are into Sailing.

As G-Man (Cig 1)told me after going slow for one day, he
said, "Hey Bro, the faster you go, the smoother the ride!"
It looks like he is right. I asked my surgeon if he ever heard
of the Catalina Ski Race and he about fainted when I told
him I wanted to do the race.....he thought I was talking about
skiing!!!!!! I explained that I was going to drive and throttle
the boat and he said to go for it!!!!!

Hey, where is my buddy Baja Bob???? Whatever happened
