Mabe it is set up for the oval..... You know, circle track cars have offset camber, etc. This boat has offset horsepower... The 502 is on the strarboard side (outside of oval) to promote a natural turn to the left....

You have it all wrong. The smaller motor is designed and tuned for a smooth and economical cruise. When you want to really go fast you fire up the bigger motor and enter hyper-drive mode!!!

Can't say I have ever seen someone put 2 different sized motors in a boat!!!! That's a new one!!
