We have quickly outgrown our H2x. I have done my best to talk my better half out of a cruiser. I am looking for something with plenty of space down below ac stove top and fridge. I would like to run 75 I've looked at the 38 special 35,36 and 40 outlaw any advice on power and year would be appreciated.

Don't have any info on the 342 but I know the 38 special is a bigggg boat and would need some serious power to run 75 I'd think. And with that keeping drives on it might be a challenge. Just a thought. Ever consider maybe a 38 formula? They're definitely a big boat with some sweet options as well...

the 420 with trip 502's will get close to the speed and alot of room. A 370 is also alot of room but will need big power in twins to get 75. Other than that I think you are looking at a Black Thunder with big power.
If you are looking for cruzier comfort your going to have to give up some speed. If you are looking for speed your going to have to give up some comfort.
I have always wanted a 370. Prices are starting to get in the range I may have one in a year or so. Personally feel that it is the best mix of speed and comfort.

Black Thunder Black Thunder Black Thunder! That is your best option. Great boats.
38 Special is a good boat but will need at least 500efi's+
342 with 500efi's+ is a great option also
I don't think a 36 or 40 Outlaw will give her "enough cruiser" amenities
Powerquest and Baja have some nice crossover Go fast/Cruisers along with Formula. But for some reason I don't like the formula crossovers as much
I personally do not think any formula fastech boats have enough amenities for her
I will be honest, we LOVE our cruiser. LOVE LOVE LOVE! We have had it for 3 years so far and at age 29 now I would have NEVER thought I would be in love with cruiser style boats so much. We have had 4 previous Offshore style boats. Almost bought a Black thunder but went with the cruiser AND our Baja instead. LOVE them both, but the 100mph money pit would go away first if we had to choose!
Good luck on your search!
