The Superboat Extreme class [finally] made a decent showing with five boats in the start (01 Instigator, 12 Airway Aerospace (formally Sheds Plus), 30 Twisted Metal, 77 Lucas Oil SilverHook, and 117 Watt-Ahh).

Starting with the green flag, the 77 Lucas Oil SilverHook was rock solid and continued to pull away from the rest of the class until the second lap, when the starboard propeller threw a blade heading toward the 2nd turn. This forced the team to retire from the race with a 25 second lead. The blade pierced the bustle and the boat began taking on water. Fortunately, the crew, SBI and the crane operator worked together to get the boat back to the pits and up onto the trailer before the engines got wet.

You looked great, great day of racing in all classes. Too bad about the prop. I first heard that you had a driveshaft fail and punch a hole, the prop is a lot easier to deal with.
