Default Carb Spacers and Jetting

I have a question for you guys. I installed a set of 1.5 inch wilson tapered carb spacers on my engines a month ago. They are on top of an RPM intake, and I'm running the stock 088 heads. I seemed to have gained better throttle response but nothing on top which is where I expected to see some gains. So my question is, now that the engine is pulling from the entire carb should I jet down a bit? I know with a dual plane you run a little richer than with a single. Do you guys think it worth trying to jet down some?

Spacers will not generally give you enough top end HP to show on the GPS. I agree they can provide some more mid-range torque which you are feeling. Not sure a spacer has much impact on jetting....especially in a boat.
