Congrat's to Kip Brown and the entire Graham Trucking Team on Winning the 2013 Detroit APBA Gold-Cup. It was a great weekend to hold a race , no rain............., a nice little breeze to give the waters a little chop to run on and great racing all weekend. Saturday had some great races between the fan favorites OH BOY! BERTO and Graham Trucking. We saw a scary sight with Jarvis Restoration blow over completely 360 Degree's as it passed the DYC an into the Rooster Tail Turn. Luckily no one was hurt and the boat seemed to have only minor damage. I want to thank all the volunteers, staff, Sponsors such as Jarvis Property Restorations, the Rooster Tail, The Detroit Yacht Club, Kid Rocks Bad ASS Beer, made in Detroit for sponsoring the FREE Friday and all the many other sponsors that I left out, sorry. Looking forward to next year already as all I heard was positive things from my friends who also attended at the Judges Stands. One thing that I did hear a lot about was the absence of the Fighter Jet , which I hope returns next year and the Offshore Super Cats that use to come and run.
