Does anyone know of a automotive pump that can be used as a replacement for my merc pump # 16792A39. I can't justify spending 450-805 dollars..

I took my old pump out of the reservior and took it to autozone and matched it up with one of their GM pumps. Once I had the right pump I removed the pressure control valve from my merc pump and replaced the valve in the new GM pump with it. Works fine.

Thanks Would you have that part # by any chance.. AGR sells new pumps part # 805256 a close match but still pricey around 180.00
