One of the boats I have been looking hard at is the 32 Victory. Read alot of yalls posts here and they seem to get really good reviews from thier owners. However I have noticed that not only do they lack trim tabs, which I get, but they also lack Hydraulic steering! Are these boats that light on the steering or have I got it wrong?

Do you have any idea of what the hyd system installed would cost? Surely a couple grand at least?

My 2001 32 that is for sale on the classifieds site has External Hydraulic Steering. I've never seen a 32 Advantage without it. As far as trim tabs, it is completely unnecessary as this boat planes out very quickly without them. The boat is incredible to drive!

That 32 must have been ordered as a low budget boat from Advantage. Hyd steering is a must if you plan on running some MPH. Tabs on a 32 are nice at higher speeds to stabilize and rough water. Like the 28 you don't need them to plane or general cruising. 34' on the other hand, tabs are a must
