Pulled the boat today to change all the fluids and double check everything after the first weekend of use. As I was cleaning the bottom in the hoist I noticed a 5 inch by 3 foot section of the gell GONE, Called Glass Dave and he was over within the hour to take a look. The other side is ready to go in the same place. Looks like too much time and too much bouncing on the old ill fitting trailer caused stress cracks leading to failure. So much for this season and my bank account. He did say that getting the back half of the bottom redone should be good for a mile an hour or two.....

Yep, I run things hard and it's reassuring that it will be fixed right when I launch it.
