I found a small hose in the bilge, it looks like its suppose to connect to the top of the seawater pump. Does anyone have any idea where the other end gets connected? I'm looking at a parts catalogue and listed as HOSE, BLACK 42". Trying to figure out where it supposed to go and what it does??? Thanks, Don

It's a hose to nowhere so to speak. It actually connects to the top of the cooling water drain system and just hangs down to the bulge.

+ 1 and even boat techs ask that same question at merc school.
