just picked up a project..1986 28' ghost..needs outboards and interior , been sitting.. hull seems solid..if anyone can point my in right direction or has experience on setting up this type of boat id appreciate it..first id like to make sure fuel tank is good..then attack interior while looking for a few mercs..would like to keep everything period correct with late 80 mercs??any thouhgts??

I'd go with newer fuel injected motors. Way better economy. Optimax or etec or hpdis. Heard good on all 3.
