This may have a thread if so please direct me there thanks.
I could not find one.
Want to know where you gain the lenght and height between 38 and 42.?
If it is height in the cabin would that make it taller in th V-berth and bench area with a stagg?
With the side by side older hull I assume you have much more cockpit lenght, the bolsters are set back a few more inches and I think the cabin is shorter in hight correct? I'm talking early 1990's - early 2000's
Really leaning toward a 42 new or old but if I stumble on a 38 I want to be sure where I'm looseing the lenght and height...
Thanks Bill

I can only comment on the staggered 42's and 38's as I've inquired about the same thing recently as I'm considering trading my 38 for a 42. The cockpit on the 42 is slightly larger, the rear deck and engine compartment are longer and you pick up about 2 feet or so in the bow. The cabin is 4-6" higher and it stays higher for longer in the 42. Don't know anything about the older ones as I'm only considering 2004 or later..
